The Magellanic Ceramic Vase feels like a fragment of a distant galaxy brought quietly into the room. Its low-waisted silhouette spreads outward with a grounded calm, like a rotating disk of cosmic dust settling into form. The body curves gently, not striving upward but instead orbiting its own center, balanced and self-contained.
Across its surface, abstract shapes drift like stellar remnants—irregular, expressive, and suspended in a kind of visual zero gravity. Pops of color punctuate the form the way nebulae flare to life in the darkness: sudden bursts of electric blues, warm ambers, and soft, ionized pinks that seem to glow against a more muted, earthen backdrop. These colors don’t sit statically; they feel as though they’ve migrated there over time, carried by invisible currents.
There’s a sense of quiet vastness in it. The design doesn’t demand attention—it invites slow observation, like stargazing. Each angle reveals a slightly different constellation of marks, giving the impression that the vase is less an object and more a captured moment in an ongoing cosmic drift.
It’s abstract, but not chaotic—structured like a galaxy, where everything appears scattered yet follows a hidden gravitational logic
